This part of my life. This part right here. I call it growing up.

"Smile"

Smile, though your heart is aching
Smile, even though it's breaking
When there are clouds in the sky
You'll get by...

If you smile
With your fear and sorrow
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just...

Light up your face with gladness
Hide every trace of sadness
Although a tear may be ever so near
That's the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just...

Smile, though your heart is aching
Smile, even though it's breaking
When there are clouds in the sky
You'll get by...

If you smile
Through your fear and sorrow
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just smile...

That's the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just smile

I'll admit I'm not the biggest fan of Michael Jackson.
But this song got to me.
Its been awhile since I've listened to it.
Funnily enough, awhile also since I've smiled genuinely.

What Sam L Radaha posted on Fb recently woke me up.
Maybe its time to invest in myself for a change.
Maybe its time to appreciate life a little more.
Maybe its time to be content.
Maybe its time to thank God for his blessings.
Maybe its time to,
Smile? :)

For someone with such a messed up life.
MJ certainly wrote a brilliant song.
But then again, maybe that's why he did what he did.
He wanted to smile.

Reminds me of The Pursuit Of Happyness.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
-Christopher Gardner- (The Pursuit Of Happyness - 2006)

"It was right then that I started thinking
About Thomas Jefferson on the Declaration of Independence.
And the part about our right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
And I remember thinking how did he know to put the pursuit part in there?
That maybe happiness is something that we can only pursue
And maybe we can actually never have it.
No matter what
How did he know that?"
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So let me ask you.
Are you happy?

Jon.
